Asset coverage as of May 15, 2008, was 2.1+:1, according to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dividend15.com\/split_II\/valuations.html\">the company<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The issue was noted by Assiduous Reader <i>cowboylutrell<\/i> in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prefblog.com\/?p=2174#comments\">comments to May 22<\/a>. The more I thought about the issue, the fewer good reasons I could think of to justify its continued exclusion.<\/p>\n<p>The main argument against inclusion is that, by backdated additions of issues due to their continued good credit quality and liquidity, a certain amount of survivor bias is incorporated into HIMIPref&trade;.
