{"id":28012,"date":"2015-02-28T00:22:13","date_gmt":"2015-02-28T05:22:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/prefblog.com\/?p=28012"},"modified":"2015-02-28T00:22:13","modified_gmt":"2015-02-28T05:22:13","slug":"td-pr-r-to-be-redeemed-some-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prefblog.com\/?p=28012","title":{"rendered":"TD.PR.R To Be Redeemed, Some Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>For those of you who missed it in the <a href=\"http:\/\/prefblog.com\/?p=28009\">post announcing the new TD FixedReset issue<\/a>, Toronto-Dominion Bank <a href=\"http:\/\/td.mediaroom.com\/2015-02-27-TD-Bank-Group-to-Issue-Preferred-Shares\">has announced<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>It is the intention of the Bank to exercise its right to redeem all of its outstanding 10 million Non-cumulative Redeemable Class A First Preferred Shares, Series R (the &#8220;Series R Shares&#8221;).  The foregoing statement of intention does not constitute formal notice of redemption.  Should the Bank exercise its right to redeem the Series R Shares, formal notice of redemption will be issued by the Bank in due course.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>TD.PR.R is a DeemedRetractible, 5.60%, which <a href=\"http:\/\/prefblog.com\/?p=1918\">commenced trading March 12, 2008<\/a> after being <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prefblog.com\/?p=1870\">announced March 3, 2008<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It is currently redeemable at 25.75; the redemption price declines by $0.25 on 2015-4-30.
