BIP Investment Corporation, an indirect subsidiary of Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P., has announced<\/a> (on 2024-12-02):<\/p>\n

the voting results from the special meeting of holders of its senior preferred shares, series 1 (the \u201cPreferred Shares\u201d) held today in a virtual meeting format (the \u201cMeeting\u201d). BIPIC also announced that it intends to redeem all of the outstanding Preferred Shares for cash on December 5, 2024.<\/p>\n

Results of Special Meeting<\/p>\n

The special resolution (\u201cSpecial Resolution\u201d) to permit the redemption of the Preferred Shares by BIPIC at any time on not less than three business days\u2019 notice for an amount in cash equal to C$26.75 per Preferred Share was approved by the holders of the Preferred Shares at the Meeting. Detailed voting results are set out below.<\/p>\n

Redemption of Preferred Shares<\/p>\n

BIPIC has provided notice of its intention to redeem all of the outstanding Preferred Shares for cash on December 5, 2024. The redemption price for each Preferred Share will be C$26.75. Holders of Preferred Shares of record as of November 29, 2024 will also receive the previously declared final quarterly dividend of $0.4671875 per Preferred Share on December 5, 2024.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
