{"id":5025,"date":"2009-01-19T19:29:07","date_gmt":"2009-01-19T23:29:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.prefblog.com\/?p=5025"},"modified":"2009-01-19T19:29:07","modified_gmt":"2009-01-19T23:29:07","slug":"pfdpra-to-delist-2009-1-23","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prefblog.com\/?p=5025","title":{"rendered":"PFD.PR.A to Delist 2009-1-23"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>JovFunds Management Inc. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newswire.ca\/en\/releases\/archive\/January2009\/19\/c8794.html\">has announced<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>that the securities of Charterhouse Preferred Share Index Corporation (the &#8220;Corporation&#8221;) will be delisted from the Toronto Stock Exchange at the close of business on January 23, 2009 so that the merger of the Corporation into a newly created open-end mutual fund trust (the &#8220;Merger&#8221;), named the Jov Leon Frazer Preferred Equity Fund (the &#8220;Fund&#8221;), may proceed as previously announced on November 12, 2008.<\/p>\n<p>Subject to regulatory approval, the Merger will occur at the close of business on or about January 30, 2009 (the &#8220;Effective Date&#8221;), at a ratio based on the net asset value of the preferred shares of the Corporation on the Effective Date, and, $10.00, the starting net asset value of the Series A units of the Fund. Units of the Fund will be valued daily and may be<br \/>\ntransacted via the FundSERV Network on or about February 2, 2009.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Their intention to merge has been <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prefblog.com\/?p=3920\">discussed on PrefBlog<\/a>.
