{"id":566,"date":"2007-02-07T15:58:50","date_gmt":"2007-02-07T19:58:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.prefblog.com\/?p=566"},"modified":"2007-02-07T15:58:50","modified_gmt":"2007-02-07T19:58:50","slug":"preferred-share-newsletter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prefblog.com\/?p=566","title":{"rendered":"Preferred Share Newsletter?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In response to enquiries, I am considering offering\u00a0a regular monthly newsletter regarding Canadian Preferred Shares on a subscription basis.<\/p>\n<p>I haven&#8217;t decided on any of the details of such a newsletter yet, but my initial thoughts are for something about four pages long:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a page of prose and general tables that will attempt to communicate\u00a0an overall description of the market over the preceeding month<\/li>\n<li>three or four pages of recommendations &#8230; four recommendations per page, with\u00a0a standardized table showing the characteristics of the issue, a chart and a paragraph regarding the reasoning behind the recommendation. There would be at least one recommendation per class of preferred share (classes defined in accordance with the HIMI Indices though Ratchet \/ Fixed Floater \/ Floater would be combined)<\/li>\n<li>A &#8220;Chart of the Month&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pricing has not yet been determined.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If there is anything you would like to see in such a newsletter, please let me know.
