{"id":6995,"date":"2009-06-22T17:57:25","date_gmt":"2009-06-22T21:57:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.prefblog.com\/?p=6995"},"modified":"2009-06-22T17:57:25","modified_gmt":"2009-06-22T21:57:25","slug":"ntlprf-ntlprg-suspended-from-trading","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/prefblog.com\/?p=6995","title":{"rendered":"NTL.PR.F &amp; NTL.PR.G Suspended from Trading"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Toronto Stock Exchange <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tsx.com\/en\/news_events\/news_releases\/6-22-2009_TSX-SuspendNT-PR.html\">has announced<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>SUSPENDED \u2013 Nortel Networks Limited (the \u201cCompany\u201d) \u2013 The Cumulative Redeemable Class A Preferred Shares, Series 5 (Symbol: NTL.PR.F) and the Non-Cumulative Redeemable Class A Preferred Shares, Series 7 (Symbol: NTL.PR.G) will be suspended from trading effective immediately as a result of the Company\u2019s June 19, 2009 news release. Further information will be forthcoming regarding the Company\u2019s expected delisting application.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The last mention of these issues on PrefBlog occurred when <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prefblog.com\/?p=4954\">the company requested restrictions on trading<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Both issues have been tracked by HIMIPref&trade;, but are relegated to the &#8220;Scraps&#8221; index on credit concerns. Tracking will cease immediately.<\/p>\n<p><b>Update, 2009-6-23<\/b>: The TSX <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tsx.com\/en\/news_events\/news_releases\/6-23-2009_TSX-DelistNTL.html\">has announced<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>CHANGES IN STOCK LIST Nortel Networks Limited (the \u201cCompany\u201d) \u2013 Further to TSX Bulletin #2009-0795, at the request of the Company, the Cumulative Redeemable Class A Preferred Shares, Series 5 (Symbol: NTL.PR.F) and the Non-Cumulative Redeemable Class A Preferred Shares, Series 7 (Symbol: NTL.PR.G) (collectively the \u201cShares\u201d) will be delisted at the close of market on June 26, 2009.
